I received this in a monthly subscription box and was quite excited to try it out as I do my own nails every week.
the tip is sort of like a felt and it comes with another 3 replacements which tuck away in the other end, which is great as it keeps it all in one place.
It still has the nail polish remover smell even without the acetone in it.
It claims to remove excess in one stroke, but depending on how fast your polish dries it could take a bit of rubbing and pressure.
I have been finding that what ever colour you last took off stay on the tip and can discolour when you next try and remove from the new polish.
I'm right handed and completely useless with my left so I cant use this product on both hands. It needs to be held like a marker and feels awkward in the left hand
I received this in a subscription box and was immediately intrigued. I like to do my own nails but I do tend to "colour outside the lines"
its a simple black package with one tip already in place for use and 3 more tips tucked away in the other end. this is handy as it makes sure nothing gets lost.
it does smell quite strong, which is a little off putting for me but not a deal breaker.
the first tip worked brilliantly, I didn't have to use excessive pressure to get the polish off the skin around my nails and when I was done they looked flawless!
The 2nd time I used it I tried using the same tip, that was a no go, changed the tip and it was very difficult to use, qutie dry.
you do have to make sure you push the ip in quite hard and hold it upside down for a few seconds to saturate the tip with product, then it did work but not as good as the first time as I hard to really rub and push quite hard on my fingers.
the tips do stain and i would say they are one time use, which means you don't get that many uses out of the pen.
All in all this is a fantastic idea, I do like it and would probably repurchase, but I don't think it would be a holy grail product
