I'm not normally a red lips gal. I normally go for drastic eyes and subtle pink or nude gloss lips. This brought me out of my comfort zone which I liked. It was easy to put on and I liked not having a messy applicator. There was no sticky tar like feel to it which waas a big bonus. It wasn't overly glossy but it was subtle which I actually liked. The only complaint I have is that the stain wasn't as great as others I have used. I noticed alot of colour on my morning coffee. But easy to reapply so not a huge deal. I'd definitely recommend to friends and be keen to try other colours if they have them.

Tips: Don't apply right to the edges of your lips. Just apply in the centre then rub your lips together and repeat to build colour. If you build all your colour then rub your lips together you'll end up with red stain around your mouth like you've been drinking raspberry soda haha.
its a nice lip gloss, nice colour. but at 1st it feels abit sticky so I take a little bit off using some toilet paper. it gets lighter when it wears off which isn't too bad. nice pencil which means it easy too apply.
Tips: not apply too much
I’m absolutely in-love with this product! Where to start… I was super excited to get this product, I mean it is a Gloss in pencil form!? How weird, right? I didn’t think it would work, but it does. I tried the Australis Show Stopper Gloss Stick in Fireworks. I LOVE this colour. This is a nice Deep Magenta with red under-tones, it has a bit of a silver sparkle in it too. I second guessed the colour being able to suit my skin tone (Light Tan), but it suited me very well so that is a plus. The pencil applies easily, but can bleed a little. Nothing that lip liner can’t fix. The colour is very pigmented and can be built up to deepen the colour. It also has a great wearing time, lasting a few hours while out for dinner. When it does fade it doesn't leave that yucky smudged off look like lipstick, because it is a stain it just becomes lighter and lighter. You could easily just apply a gloss over to liven the look. I would say that I did find it to be more of a lipstick consistency when applying rather than a gloss, but it still has that nice shine to it. You don’t get that hair stuck to your lip problem either. SUPER BONUS! The only downfalls I could pick up on would be that there is only 3 colours in the range Hoola Hoop (Glossy Coral/red no sparkle), Fairy Floss (Light Pink with sparkle) and Fireworks. I don’t know how to get more product out as it is not a windup stick, I have read that it can be sharpened, but that sounds as if it could be really messy. So I’m using a lipstick brush to get it out. And lastly you must make sure your lips are in good condition as every bump and crack will be highlighted, so exfoliating your lips is a must. I will be buying the other 2 colours in the range as I have loved using this Gloss Stick. It is convenient and super handy. Just waiting to see more colour selection too.
Tips: - Exfoliate lips before use. - Apply a balm or chapstick under it as it can dry your lips after long wear. - Use a lip liner if you find it to bleed
High shine, high colour, high impact and semi-stain and that's what I found to be true to those words with this product, nicely sized pencil to go anywhere, fragrance found to be none, no after taste on application. Easy to apply ran smoothly over lips a little goes along way with this colour and friends said the colour suited me apon applyig found a little sticky and later on felt a little dry as for longevity a bit disappointed about after a hour or so looked in the mirror all was to be seen was outline around my lips had to reapply in inner lip area only down full all in all great product for night wea,r thanks for the trail
Tips: Maybe apply a little lip balm
Love it! Doesn't stain as much as I thought it would but the gloss and sparkle definitely lasts a long time, even after eating! Would use it again, such a bright colour and so easy to use.
Tips: Use a lip pencil before hand to help make the colour last longer
Great colors. Does exactly what it says (gloss & stain) but find it too sticky for my liking. I mean I like to flip my hair once in a while but when it comes to my face and looks like I'm choking on a ball of hair... kinda ruins the moment. Good thing though is you can still use it as a stain, just blot your lips with facial tissue and the color comes out great. Or apply a nude moisturizing lipstick of your choice over it and voilà!
It is very affordable and stays on the lips all day/night. They offer a great range of colours and it creates a shiny look on the lips
Tips: Apply a thin layer of lip balm underneath and it will prevent it from looking flaky
I recieved this gloss pencil as a gift ffom Koni. Im not usually a gloss type girl so it definately put me out of my comfort zone. Australis is a brand that can be found at most stores. I like brands that I could easily acess.
This gloss pencil is quite thick. Its a black pencil with the Australis branding on it. I like how broght this red and black packaging. The texture of it exactly like a gloss. The colour is red with specks of glitter running through it. It doesnt have any scent at all.
When I applied it to my lips it glidded on nicely. It did come off with eating and drinking. It does stain well to so becareful. I got some on my why shirt. I think I will need to look for a large sharpener. Im not sure if Australis provides these.
Overall the colour pay off is A plus. It does come off with eating and you will definately need to take it with you where ever you go. A lovely gloss, Im keen to try more glosses out. I think their definitely worth buying if your wanting this kind of consistency.
