L'Oreal Glam Shine Absolutely Red

I saw this in a clearance basket at my local pharmacy. I wanted to give this gloss a try outside of my normal nude tones. This is my first try of a Loreal gloss.

This comes in a clear bottle. It's easy to see this bright red colour through it. Labelling on it is nothing fancy. The wand on it is long with a soft spongey applicator. The consistency of this is very sticky. The colour of it is really bright.

Before applying I like to exfoliate my lips with lip scrub. I make a home made version with lemon and sugar. This gloss glides on well. Transfers easily with eating and drinking. I do expect gloss to do this.

I'm glad I got this on sale, because I wouldn't pay full price for it. In comparison to Gerrards gloss this one Definately needs work with its formula. One tube lasted me months. I Definately wouldn't repurchase this .

I got given this product from my mum as she didnt want it.. But then I realised why! The colour is really nice and looks really shiny and red on your lips but the texture on your lips is not great. It stays very wet and sticky and basically cant do anything (eat or drink) with it on. I guess it would be a good lip gloss for photos but thats about it! not very practical.

i bought this product and straight away i realized it was not for me,the packaging is lovely and the product looks shiny and the wand was ok,but when i placed it on my lips it felt like i had honey over my lips.my lips stayed sticky and that honey feeling never went away.i would not buy it again,its not a feeling i like on my lips.

I tried this a few times as it was given to me as a birthday present. It is very sticky and I always ended up removing it and occasionally when removing with a tissue the tissue would get stuck, Am glad I didn't pay for this as I would have been disappointed.

I am not usually a fan of red lip gloss but I picked this up as I thought it looked interesting.

This is horrible! It is soooooooooo sticky! My lips literally felt as though they were covered in glue :/ I also really disliked the strong, weird, sweet scent that this had to it.

This doesn't last very long on your lips whatsoever (max an hour on my lips), and my lips felt dry after this had worn off.

This was a miss of epic proportions and I absolutely wouldn't waste my money on repurchasing this.

this s definatley glam shine does add volume but definatly did not last 6 hours for me it was more 30mins was very sticky and horrible messy i used this a couple of times not till the end tho i also had to re apply all the time unfortunaly i was a smoker to then and the horrible sticky-ness went everwhere had smoke tabocco on lips yes was not for me

Very sticky! it does not feel nice on my lips, you can feel it and it is just plain uncomfortable. I will not use it again, I really don't like sticky lip glosses. Also I have the shade 206 and it is overly glittery for my liking. It also doesn't last 6 hours, more like 2. Let down really! Will mention some positives though: The applicator wand is perfect for lip glosses, good shape to it. It is a very glossy colour so those who enjoy gloss then this is true to it. Also It does volumize your lips too.

I have a few of these lip glosses and they just don't stand up to the claim that they last 6 hours unfortunately. I found they are not very pigmented, this red in particular not being the red it looks in the tube and more pinkish on the lips due to its sheerness (which is always disappointing). The slight gloss also wears off pretty quickly and the product really messes up your glasses, transferring terribly.

The formula is also pretty undesirable in my books as I am not a fan of sticky lip glosses and these are super sticky. So not my cup of tea really.

Considering the price of these I expected so much better. I got these on sale and would be even more disappointed had I paid there full price! Would not recommend this lip gloss and certainly will not be repurchasing.

Suits my skin-tone perfectly, the perfect red, with a glossy shine. Never been able to find a red lip colour that suits me, but this does!!

I bought one of these in the States. It makes my lips feel soft and smooth. THe colour is a bit much for me and I only wear it with red clothes. HOwever, I have other Glam Shine colours and wear them a lot.
