BDB 60 Seconds Excellent Simple Starter Brow Set!

Of all the items in the vault this was the one I wanted the most! If I didn't get it in the vault I would've bought it. But I was lucky to score it in the vault. This fantastic brow set has Billion Dollar Brows bestselling shade of brow powder, which is Taupe and the dual ended brow and spoolie brush to apply it perfectly. The powder looks really natural on me with my black brown hair and just as natural on my friend who is pale and has reddish darker blonde hair, no wonder it's a best seller! The double ended brush has the spoolie on one end and an angled brow brush on the other. It's designed for the perfect application of the brow powder. I've tried applying the brow powder with other angled brushes but I find I get the best precise application with the brush that came in this set. So is this set worth $52? Well I've gotten lots of use out of this brow powder and barely made a dent in it. I see this lasting me for a really long time, so although it might cost quite a bit I think it's an investment if you are looking for a brow powder. It does what it says so I highly recommend this set.

Tips: This shade does suit most hair shades. I was surprised that it looked natural on me as I thought I would have to go for the darkest shade, but when this powder clings to my brow hairs it appears darker and looks natural.

Billion Dollar Brows 60 Seconds To Beautiful Brows

I grabbed this Beauty in The Vault. At first I thought oh crap it's Taupe, it will be too light for my Brows.

Then this gorgeous box arrived with a spoolie end and an angled brush end, I was SO EXCITED!!

The colour is actually perfect! The powder is buttery and so easy to apply, great sized pot, easy to handle while applying powder. The brush is awesome, I really love the duo ended style! I had broken my spoolie so it was so cool to get another.

The colour lasts all day and fills in my sparse brows perfectly. I'm a huge fan of brow powders.

I highly recommend BDB 60 seconds to beautiful brows, does exactly what it says :D

Great for touch ups

Well well this product in the vault had my curiosity very high hmmmm 60 seconds to beautiful brows?? Really? Could that be possible? I mean I'm all about saving time, I hate products where I have to 'naff' around for ages. So anything that can save me time I'm in!

The product comes in a cardboard box talk about a bit of an over kill of cardboard but anyhoo I guess it prevents the brush or product from being damaged.

The product comes in a small silver plastic pot with a screw top lid, with the lid being clear at the top so you can see the product. The colour is 'taupe' which looks a lot like the colour of the BDB universal brow pencil. The brush has an angled brush at one end and a spoolie at the other. It does feel kind of lightweight and almost flimsy so I'm learning to be gentle with it.

The product is easy to pick up with the angled brush. It feels quite creamy and buttery, It sticks to the skin/hair easily and it's easy to build the colour up. I have decided that I don't really need to do too much to my brows just fill in a few sparse areas and I'm done.

Once I have added colour I blend it all in with the spoolie end then set it with a gel. I love how this looks so natural as most of my make up looks are pretty au naturale. It doesn't seem too last all day on my brows though which is the only slight issue I have with this product and that is after setting it with a gel.

As for the 60 second part? At best I can do each brow in 60 seconds. It is pretty easy especially if you are like me and only need to touch up a few sparse hairs. Overall though it's a great product, thanks so much to BR for making this product available in the vault.

Browful Babe

I picked up my billion dollar brow kit in the last beauty vault, I chose this product because I have very patchy brows from overplucking.

The packaging is quite alluring, something draws you in. Maybe its the fact that they are showing you the product on the outside? One downside about the packaging though was I was frantically searching for the instructions inside the box since there was so much room... Ahem... There were no instructions.

However, I found the brush to be really easy to work with and I think it will last for a long time. The product came in a small round container and was "Taupe" colour. I read on the box that it was compatible with dark hair which was a bonus.

I felt that the colour was to light for my personal preference and didn't really give me the result I wanted. However it was perfect for day to day eyebrow wear and let me get away with people thinking I was eyebrow product free.

This product lasted about 8 hours on me before it started to wear off, which I think is a reasonable amount of time! It didn't take me long to apply the brow product as well which was handy!

I don't think I could justify spending over $50 on this product considering I have another eyebrow kit that is worth $30 and gives me amazing stand out results. However it would be a fantastic little edition to a makeup kit and there is no harm in trying this product !

60 seconds give or take

I was so lucky to grab a 60 seconds to beautiful brows box in the last rewards vault. The packaging is simple and understated, no clear instructions on use (if you are a first timer using powder then may I suggest a quick youtube clip to assist).

The powder comes in a cute wee silver compact with a clear middle in the top of the screw-off lid, this wee compact is quite sturdy as the same day I received it I accidentally knocked it off my desk and onto a hard concrete floor... I didn't want to look but hubby did for me and it was all intact... not even slightly loose (I breathed a huge sigh of relief). I was concerned that the powder was too light for my dark brown/black brows but it is build-able and makes a nice natural looking brow in 60 seconds (give or take). It doesn't take a lot of product to get good results and with a bit more practice I can see me switching between my regular holy grail brow product and this kit.

I use the brush before and after the powder to help blend it but you could possibly get a sharper look if you use it with a brow gel as well but this will add on more time also.

The spoolie end of the brush is good and firm and brushes my brows easily, it doesn't snag any hairs (I don't have any surplus to spare) and makes a neat job effortlessly. The angled end is great for applying powder both in a fine line and at the widest part. It is almost the perfect size for my brows (not too thin but just wide enough), it picks up powder easily and applies it cleanly and precisely.

Natural looking brows

I’m trying hard to think of any makeup lover who would ONLY spare 60 seconds for the very things that frame our face (nothing wrong if you do). I’ve been using this for a week (day and night when going out) and aside from how it’s marketed I like it. I feel however it’s more suited for those who prefer natural looking brows but even 60 seconds for natural brows is a stretch.

The product is marketed as a “pop of colour” and personally I want my brows to appear full, filled in and defined. I have thin sparse eyebrows so natural just won’t do for me, I may as well not bother with brow products (the horror!). With this product, I can easily fill in my brows and build up the colour but I can still see slight gaps that this powder just can't cover.

Courtesy of the BR Beauty Vault I managed to pick up the powder / brow brush combo in Taupe. I’m pretty sure they could downsize the box it comes in by storing the powder sideways, I don’t think that would compromise the quality of the product. You get 2g of pressed powder in a silver plastic screw top tub (similar to Stila Crushed Metals). I would have liked if the lid was a flip top so you could easily click it shut without the risk of losing the lid. The powder has an incredibly soft texture which adheres well to the skin and hair.

Taupe is the perfect colour for my black brows, I can build up the colour for a "full look" or easily sheer it out using the spoolie for a natural look. The brow brush which has an angled brush on one end and a spoolie on the other end is nothing special. I think the angled brush is a little too soft because I find that even when I add pressure, I can’t achieve sharp lines and they just end up looking soft. If you already have your own brow brush there is really no need for you to buy this combo, you can make do with buying the powder on its own.

I use the powder in conjunction with an eyeshadow cream to achieve the kind of brows that I want, on its own it’s not for me however I would repurchase the powder just to use with the other product.

Tips: If you want to build up the colour, swirl the angled brush around in the product (dabbing it won’t do much).
