This is a great pencil that can be used as a simple liner or also for some all over colour. It is easy to sharpen and goes onto the lid with ease, you don't have to push it too hard into your eye, like with some pencils! It blends easily too.

This is now my go to brown eye pencil. I found it great as a traditional eye liner and also used it instead of eye shaddow and smudged it to create a smokey look.
This pencil is a wonderful shade of espresso (super dark brown) it glides on but isn't too soft and has quite a pointy long tip which gives it the ability to be used like an eye kohl to line the inner rims in one swift motion. The formula gives plenty of smudge time and then sets up quite watertight once you have finished smudging. You can also smudge all over the lid for a smokey eye base. This my be my new fave brown eyeliner.
Tips: The name 'Terra' is a bit misleading - I expected a name of this shade to be a red/earthy brown terracotta shade - they should have called it Espresso!
I bought this 2 years ago during a customer VIP sale so I was very fortunate to avoid paying full price for what's in my opinion "just another eyeliner".
It was hard to skim past this product in the catalogue with it's pristine white packaging, clear plastic top and custom sharpener. When I received it; it looked so much better than what I saw in the catalogue; it's quite luxurious.
Without the lid the pencil stands just a little taller than a MAC lipstick and it's a smidgen bigger than the NYX Jumbo pencil in terms of diameter. The pencil has a smooth creamy texture that swipes nicely on the water line or inner rim of your eyes as I like to use it.
You can easily blend it out and up close it's a very dark cocoa brown but from a distance it could possibly pass for black. The main reason I bought this pencil was because of the name "Terra" I expected quite an earthy brown and instead I got - what I thought was more "wet soil".
Unfortunately there really isn't any noticeable performance benefits; it does its job by defining your eyes and it lasts a decent amount of time (i.e. 4 hours) before fading. You're not missing out on much here.
