Bio Oil

Unfortunately this did not work for me at all, and I used this for an entire year and a half. My scars are the same and did not soften the look of my stretch marks, although I did not expect it too.It left my skin very oily and during walks in town It felt like dust or dirt sticking to my legs! It is overly priced and I wasted alot of money on this for nothing. I did however like the scent, and was better as an oil treatment for my hair.

I tried this product a few years ago. I found it didn't live up to its reputation. I personally would not buy it again. I also found it too oily. It may work for others though

I was given a truck load of bio oil during my pregnancy and i was religiously slapping this stuff on my belly, butt and thighs. It smelt alright and i didnt end up with any stretch marks until the last month of pregnancy. Didnt really seem to ease the rapid onset of the stretch marks but because i used it religiously during the previous 8 months i wont know if it helped or not, I decided to research bio oil, which led to mineral oil and all sorts of articles on the not so nice side of mineral oil. I didnt react to the oil but didnt have any amazing results either. Each to their own but ill be going down the natural oil route from now on :)

I bought it and used it every day 2montha into pregnancy, I'm can't say if it helped preventing starch marks or not buy it hasn't helped at all making them fade. It smells great and is nice for dry skin but that's about it..

I REALLY wanted to love this product & the description & all the hype about it when I first heard of it quite a few years ago, had me picking it up at the first store I saw it in. I religiously used it on some stretch marks that were fairly new after giving birth to my 2nd son. I honestly did not find that it really made much of a difference. The only reason I gave it 2 stars when asked if I would recommend it is because I know we are all different including our skin, so it is a possibility that maybe it might work for someone else.

I have combination skin, leaning towards oily and I found the product too oily, causing me to breakout. It took some time to penetrate in the skin and left me feeling like I had an oily film on my skin. Sorry Bio-Oil but I'll have to give you a miss!

bio oil is one of those things you have to stick with for results, i use it for my acne and its great i put it on everynight before bed, in the start it will make your face breakout, only because its lifting out all the dirt to the surface , stick with it and it could work for you.

I loved using bio oil whilst pregnant, it felt amazing on my skin. Although it didn't prevent stretch marks completely it definitely helped & they're quite faded now so I'm happy with that.
