Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

This is my everyday mascara at the moment and its a really good affordable product in my opinion.

The packaging is bright yellow which I enjoy, it adds a fun pop of colour to my makeup collection.

The formula is a nice consistency, not too thick but not too watery. It also doesn't have that much of a smell, it smells like mascara if you sniff the bottle but I can't smell the product when I'm applying it.

I love the big bushy wand, its easy to apply and I can get great length and volume without giant clumps. Not too sure about 9x the volume haha I've never measured (not sure how you would?!). The only thing I don't like is that oftentimes a little too much product comes out on the brush so I have to wipe the brush off before using.

Overall this is a great everyday, affordable mascara that works just as good as some of my higher end ones. It has a great formula and I have been using it for months now and it hasn't dried up. Would recommend and repurchase!

I love this product! It does what it says, doesn't clump and makes your lashes look totally fab!! Also love how you can't tell you have it on, meaning it doesn't feel heavy or flake as the day goes on!

I am super impressed with this mascara. I used it a while ago and recently started using it again because I was out of my usual mascara and prefer this one much more! It gives my lashes volume that it lacks and is super easy to apply.

I usually love Maybelline's mascaras! They're usually spot on and make my naturally short lashes look thick, full and long, however, this particular mascara really made my lashes clump together which I hate!

Could probably work fine on someone with longer lashes but as mine are quite short it made them instantly stick together :(

The formula is too thick and i find it just clumps my lashes together, flakes during the day and you end up looking in the mirror with black dot all over your face. the brush is not practical and is very hard to apply to the bottom lashes.

I love this stuff and use it everyday.

My lashes are already quite long due to using fLash eyelash serum, and this makes them extreme!

It might not be for everyone as I don't think it gives a 'natural' eyelash look and can almost make your eyelashes look a little fake - but if that's what you're going for then this is great. I personally love it.

The only mascara I use! ..I have reeeally long lashes naturally & I love making them look thicker so they stand out, & this does exactly that! The only mascara that doesn't make my lashes all stick together. I do apply 2 or 3 coats to get my desired look but definitely recommend for all girls with naturally long lashes!

can be used as a base mascara or as a top coat, either way, maybelline's collosal range are really great. Really noticed my eye lashes looking much longer and this one definitely give them more volume as well. I usually use it as a top coat with another coat underneath, to get that 'false eyelashes' look Cheap too

Bought this product a while ago wasn't used much it's thick and dark which is good but it's very sticky and lashs stuck together was super annoying

So I was introduced to this by another teacher who had such beautiful, long, thick lashes thanks to the colossal so I decided to try it and it did thicken my lashes and give them length but I found that my lashes clumped up. The packaging is so petite and bright so its easy to locate and transport.
