Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

personally, i have to say this product is not for me. Having naturally curly eyelashes this product only seems to clump and thickin my eyelashes. But, my best friend has been using it forever and she swears by it, i have to say it does look very nice on her but personally not for me. The price is pretty good for the product and i do like the brush.

This mascara is one of the best mascaras that I've used. I really like the bright yellow and purple packaging, and the brush is such a nice shape. I find that this mascara doesn't clump or flake at all, and is reasonably easy to apply, although I found that the brush is a lot bigger than others I have used before. It is also a breeze to remove as well as apply. I would highly recommend this mascara!

Im an avid EOH mascara fan, but when I recently had my make up done professionally this is what the make up artist used and swore by. Im very much easily enabled, and always like to have a couple of mascaras on hand so I went about to find it. (Found at the warehouse on sale for around $17)

The packaging wouldn't be something I would normally go for being bright yellow but I must admit it makes it easy to find in my make up draw.

Its easy to hold and the brush is just perfect for my lashes - nice and bushy.

OK so when I used it for the first time it was runny and so much product on the brush it was horrible!! I was guttered. So in my draw it sat for a few weeks until I thought Id give it another try. What would you know, the consistency had improved dramatically and my lashes look amazing, to the point that they make them look fuller, longer and more pigmented than my EOH one which has now taken a back seat for the time being.

I find it doesn't flake and is long lasting, a great combo with my lash serum! AMAZE.

I love trying new mascaras but this one Id happily purchase again.

This a product that is great if its your first time using something that makes your lashes longer. It covers and lengthen your lashes at the same time.

This mascara is nice and thick, it makes my eyelashes longer and has great staying power and good wear throughout the day, the only lyrics downside to this is the fact that it is quite cluggy and makes my eyelashes stick together

I used mine until it dried up completely!!! It lengthens and gives volume. No clumps even when applying more than one layer and the brush is just the right size.

I've found this mascara just okay. I did make my lashes longer but then it also stuck them together a little bit making them all spidery (don't think thats a word). Then I'd have to comb them out using an eyebrow comb. Then came removing it. Oh my goodness what a mission it just wont budge. Even when I thought I'd gotten it all off I'd stll have panda eyes in the morning. So I probably won't buy this again myself

I am enjoying using this mascara but I wouldnt say it is great. I am usually a user of Benefit mascaras and do prefer these as they seem to give a deeper coverage. In saying that, this is a good priced product that does cover well and gives a good length to my lashes. It would take two or three oats to get a really dramatic effect I think. Other than that good for every day use.

I brought this mascara as it seemed to be one of the best for length and volume in an affordable price bracket.

In terms of packaging it was in a bright yellow plastic mascara tube that was the typical fat Maybelline tube.

I also picked this one because the brush was a bit more normal. The bristles were thick but typical in shape and material. And the wand was also normally shaped (straight).

In terms of applying the mascara. On one application I could get 1.5x lashes and after several coats 2x lashes. But not 9x. Not that I expected to, but it does annoy me that you never get lashes like they do in the adverts.

The colour of the mascara was a strong black and in terms of volume, also about 1.5x volume. It did also clump very slightly, but not significantly.

The mascara lasted all day and didn't smudge which was fantastic and although not the waterproof version (as that only gave the potential of x7 length) it was still a bit resistant to being totally removed by water or make up remover.

It is a better mascara than ones that don't promise to lengthen your lashes, but I think they over state their claims slightly.
