What is the impact of beauty product reviews on you?

I love reading reviews, when I'm after a product its always good to see how it has worked or not, .this is a wonderful group with awesome incentives, such a wonderful group of people xo

Being a student, reading through BR at the products I'm thinking of purchasing is great! Helps me so much.. Always take into consideration what other people have said aha. There are so many products on here which I would have steered well clear of if I hadn't read reviews on here e.g. Jordana, and now the majority of my products are Jordana brand! :D

Reading reviews before buying a new product is a must do for me! It makes me a bit more confident when buying a new product even though i know it could still not work for me. Without BR i wouldnt have the knowledge i do today about beauty and makeup, thank you BR xx

With beauty products becoming a greater market product, no doubt it'll increase with more research into it, it does become expensive to buy a product. With limited funds, I always look at reviews so I can spend my money on one item, without feeling ripped off or sad that I have to deal with a bad product till it's used up. What's better on this website is that all products are tested by NZ women in NZ climate, so we all know about humidity and seasonal changes we have to deal with.

Reading reviews has definitely influenced what I look at buying, and BR has already been such an amazing help in finding things to help my skin!!

Actually yes they do everytime I look at buying something I come online and see if it has been reviewed and usually make my decision from there have been doin this since I started with BR. So thanks a lot everyone you have all been most helpful!!!

Brilliant idea! The reviews definitely influence my purchases, it's well worth reading them to make an informative decision, especially if I am buying a product type that I have not used before, ie a bronzer. I know you have to weigh up the pros and cons of all the reviews, as everyone has a different experience or the product does not suit them or their skin type etc. there are a lot of products listed I most likely wouldn't even have considered using if I hadn't read the reviews. I have learned so much from this site, and no doubt will learn lots more, plus it's great fun. So definitely these reviews are very helpful!

I love reading reviews, they are one of my most trusted sources as there are no benefits to fake positive reviews and no repercussions to honest negative ones! I have learnt so much on this site through reading reviews ( like discovering primer) and I have a whole bunch of new beauty products that I absolutely love thanks to the reviews and tips from people on this website! So thanks guys!

What an awesome idea! Personally I think a thorough review has the potential to influence my purchases. Sometimes I'll be searching for a new product to try, such as a BB cream, and will devour the info beauty review ladies have left in their reviews to help find a product that suits my needs. Other times reviews will point me in the direction of products and brands I otherwise wouldn't have tried, such as oasis or elf. Keep up the reviewing ladies!

Wow, awesome prizes. I find Beauty Review really helpful when getting info on new products that I want to try. I read up on primers last week and just went and purchased my first one. I've tried it for the first time today and can't believe how awesome it is. I probably wouldn't have tried if I hadn't read the reviews, ( I thought they were always the old green concealers).
