We've Got The Heart Eyes for These Beauty Buys!

Don't you adore that moment where you're scrolling through Instagram or perusing the daily beauty news and a product pops up that makes you gasp in pleasure, squeal with joy or giggle in amusement... not so much because of the product itself, but because of the way it's packaged. You'd think in this day and age where nothing seems all that new anymore we'd have fewer and fewer of these moments, but the last couple of months have been a veritable feast of beautiful and interesting beauty packaging... and we suspect that it's not a case of beauty only being skin deep with these products either. So what's on our lust list:

Lancome's La Rose a Poudrer is breathtaking. A perfectly pink highlighter that gives a gorgeous natural glow, which is great in itself - but the fact you sweep the product up off perfectly formed rose petals? Totally elevated from beauty product to work of art.

creerbeaute_official

Love all things Sailor Moon? You'll want to get your hands on this amazing collection from Creer Beaute. On the outside it looks like you're rocking one heck of a cool pen. On the inside is their Moisture Rouge lipstick. Oh to pull this crazy cool product from my handbag...

evieblender

There's a new contender in the makeup blender arena. The Evie Blender is a textured silicone makeup blender that claims to blend makeup beautifully with a swipe and bounce method. Easy to clean and able to last one whole year it's sure to shake the scene up. But what do we love most about this limited edition version? It sparkles.

paulandjoe_beaute

If Paul and Joe's cat-shaped lipsticks weren't purrfect enough, for their latest anniversary limited edition they've created mini-kitten eye and face makeup. So adorable! Too cute! But the guilt of disfiguring those cuties with every swipe and smush? I don't know that I could handle the guilt.

Christian Louboutin

Got a spare US$75 flitting about? Why not buy this weapon! I mean... eyeliner. Christian Louboutin's new Oeil Vinyle Luminous Ink Liner would be the ultimate piece to store on your vanity (along with all of the other CL range... honestly the styling!). Actually we love the idea of placing this next to Lancome's rose. When hard and soft collide! The other cool thing about this particular eyeliner? It's crimson. I have no idea how to wear crimson eye liner, but this makes me want to learn how!

So do tell, are you all heart-eyes for any of the products above? What other cool new packaging have you seen lately? What do we need? Sharing is caring!

So much WOW on one page!!! Love the Lancome rose... I would be too scared to use any of these though

Wow that rose highlighter!

I love the cool looking pen lippies! They are awesome and the colours are awesome.

I love the look of the Lancôme Rose highlighter and I considered purchasing it but after watching Beauty News destroy it on Youtube I was glad to see what I was really getting - a cheap flower with enough highlight for Tinkerbell. Having said that - it's still beautiful.

I still admire Besame Cosmetics' lipstick cases - so vintage!

Geez they are all awesome!! I don't think I could use the kitties though :( I would just have to sit them on my vanity haha.

Lancome's La Rose a Poudrer is so beautiful and a real WoW! for Christian Louboutin for the eyeliner -Both of these give me heart-eyes.

That rose is so beautiful!

I love cats. I wouldn't be able to use the cat lipsticks as I would not be able to bear spoiling them.

I love the Lancome packaging! and the Louboutin container - mmmmm

I did buy the limited edition Two Faced Matte Chocolate Chip palette, which I did post on the photowall awhile back. There was an anti-hauls thread where I mentioned the Lancome highlighter. It's 60USD for less than 2g of highlighter and that pretty rose that's a cheap plastic flower. If you want something pretty like that there are DIY on Youtube where you can make your own at a fraction of the price. If you're into packaging check out Korean products, their some of their skincare packaging is adorable it's more affordable and better quality.

Love the look of that eyeliner.

I love the packaging but it looks better to look at rather than use? Especially that Lancome Highlighter so beautiful.

I agree the Louboutin's eyeliner looks devine!! The rose packaging is also very stunning.

6th June, 2017

Ooh I would love to try the Lancome rose powder. Would look even better on me dressing table

I'd be so sad to squish the cat products, they're so cute. And that rose just doesn't look real. But then I also wouldn't want to buy anything I wouldn't use.
