So I was at my local Farmer's Market recently and I kept seeing kids waltzing past fiddling and blowing on these twirly whirly machines. A day later I saw them for sale on a local Facebook community page. Turns out these contraptions were called Fidget Spinners and kids all around the world have decided they're the bees knees. And if what we've just seen is anything to go by it won't be long until their makeup loving parents decide they're all that and a bag of chips too!
Makeup artist and CoverGirl spokesmodel, James Charles, recently posted a video on his Instagram where he used a Fidget Spinner as a contouring tool. You can check out the video here.
Basically he took the edge of it, then used it to draw the contour lines on his face before blending them out with a Beauty Blender. Crazy? Cool? Or just a bunch of lighthearted fun?
Whatever you think, we're impressed he even thought to use it for that! And it's good to know if you can't find your contouring brush there's another tool you may well have on hand if you've kids in the house that you can use in a pinch!
So, hit us up with your thoughts - would you use a Fidget Spinner as a contour tool? Do you like how James Charles contouring turned out using it? Or will you be sticking with your usual beauty tools? Get chatting!
I will probably give this one a miss!
