We are gearing up from another Beauty Review Halloween extravaganza. It’s an exciting time, with talk of favourite costumes, what candy we most like to give and receive, how much we dislike children who don’t use their manners or take more than their fair share (ok, that’s just grumpy old me…) and of course, makeup looks!
Oh the hours we’re putting into finding the coolest tutorials to help you recreate your ultimate Halloween look – including some terrifyingly good tutorials from some of our very own members. During our search we came across this video from the super amazing YouTuber dope2111.
I’m not going to lie, I looked at it. Looked some more. Looked again. Then began to feel like I had just been swung around a super fast merry go round one too many times.
It’s not only the finished look that will amaze, watching the video is a head-trip all unto itself. For one, this woman is so talented. Crazy good. To be able to recreate yourself in double on your face? I can barely slap a decent look on my own mug, let alone draw my own made up eyes onto my cheeks, complete with false eyelashes attached, then recreate the shape and shade of my nose on my nose? Does that make sense? You might have to watch it to see what I mean!
Of course, a look like this is sure to spurn a whole lot of other people attempting the tutorial and this look from Cynthia X is pretty darn awesome!
So does that mean it’s doable for the average lass? Yeah… perhaps not if you’re artistically useless (like myself), but if you’re able to draw a basic face and colour in without going over the lines I think it would be something many of the Beauty Review members could achieve.
So will you be giving the trippy double vision makeup look a go this Halloween? If you’re brave enough give it a go and share your results on the Photowall. The Fearsome Halloween Fairy may even sprinkle some points into your account!
That's a tad creapy! But some Realy talent has been showen here
