Kellie and Zoe are putting the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Extraordinary Clay range through its paces. Usually the daily hair washers in the crew, they're going to find out if the hero product, the Clay Mask can live up to its claim of rebalancing oily roots. Which means, they won't be washing their hair for five days! Here's Day 2 of their daily diary - to recap, they'd usually be washing their hair right about now. Are we heading into oil slick territory?
ZOE DAY 2 - Oil be damned...
...so it's 24 hours since I used the Clay Mask and then washed my hair with the Extraordinary Clay shampoo and conditioner.
Usually by now I'd be a bit oily on the roots. And yet, nope, no sign of oil at all.
When I washed my hair last night, I was a bit worried about using supermarket products on my hair - how would my hair style after, what would it feel like? I'm really pleased to be able to say I woke up this morning with manageable, super soft hair.
My fuzzy wuzzies even seems less, erm, fuzzy. WINNING!
This is me, right now. 7pm Wednesday. Hair scraped back in a bun ready to wash the day off. And look at those roots - soft and oily free. I could get used to this.
KELLIE DAY 2: The Clay may...
... be doing its thing! This morning I woke up to no sign of oil. None at all. Nada. Zip. This is highly unusual. So how's it looking at the 30 hours post-wash stage, where it's usually looking rather revolting?
It looks less manky, right? And fresher. Kind of like my first-day hair after it's dried.
So far, so impressed. Tomorrow, all going well, I'm not just going to brush out my hair with a hairdryer and put it up in a ponytail - tomorrow, I shall straighten it and wear it out. Fingers crossed the oil stays at bay!
I use a clay product as a face wash some times and yes it drys out the skin well
