Micellar on the Move!

When Micellar water first made it to our shores I’m sure most of us saw it as a way to wipe the day away at night, but since then our knowledge of Micellar has come a long way. It’s no longer just a great way to cleanse your skin of the day’s grime, it can be used throughout the day, for all manner of reasons. How? Read on…

Good morning, Micellar! Want to give your skin the ultimate wake up call? Cleanse with Micellar! It will pick up any dirt your skin may have accrued overnight, without leaving your skin feeling parched.

Have you made a makeup mistake during application? Maybe your wing is wonky? Or your little person or favourite animal has bumped your arm during lining your lips leaving you with a marionette line of colour? Don’t wipe off all your hard work, grab your Micellar and a cotton bud and whisk it away.

Hitting the gym for a workout? This is when a mini-Micellar, like Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water in the 125gm bottle, is an absolute makeup bag must. Before you hit the gym wipe off all your makeup with a quick swipe and wipe, then do it again post-workout to keep your pores in fabulous unclogged condition.

Night night, sleep tight. You’ve been racing around all day, you’ve worked, your worked out, you’ve thrown some food together, dealt with colleagues, dealt with friends, dealt with family, and now you just want to fall into bed. Make the process of taking the day off quick and easy with your trusty Micellar water. Simply squirt on a cotton pad, and quickly cleanse the day away, then hit the hay knowing you’ve taken good care of your skin all day long.

So do tell, what other ways do you use Micellar water during your day? Any tips and tricks you’d love to tell us about? Sharing is caring!

Love Garner micella oil. Wish they sold bigger makeup remover pads, the eye ones take forever to remover a whole face of makeup, so I get abit lazy with using micellar but its really good!

I use this every night when I can't be bothered doing my usual face routine and just want to go to bed. Honestly it's the best remover since sliced bread.. I'm pretty sure that makes no sense but you know what I mean! Well I do. It comes off super easy, I just use cotton pads, the circle ones from the supermarket for $3.00 it's fantastic for any makeup oops' s like winged liner fails, cotton bud + micellar = magic. It's safe for your eyes.. No irritation or scrubbing or horrible dry feeling afterwards.

I use micellar water to take my eye makeup off. I still can't bear the thought of using just micellar water to cleanse though.

I love my Garnier MIcellar Water, it's so easy to use.

You can use it to clean your makeup brushes .

I love using micellar to remove make up or cleanse, but I also use it to fix make up mistakes like mascara on eyelids.

As soon as I saw "micellar water", I HAD to click on this article!! I definitely do all of the above mentioned (except for workouts because, heh, I don't workout as much anymore..). I just saw some people state that they use it to clean their brushes too! Definitely will try that once I run out of my brush cleansers.

I cannot praise Micellar waters enough. If you haven't tried it at least once, I absolutely encourage you to. My skin has become so much softer and clearer since implementing it in my daily skincare routine.

I've never used it and don't get how it works :(

30th April, 2016

I've heard some people use it to clean their makeup brushes. Either for spot cleaning or as a final rinse to make sure it's all gotten off.

30th April, 2016

I use it to clean my brushes as well :)

30th April, 2016

So many uses. This is going to be an essential item on the shopping list next week.

30th April, 2016

I've still yet to try it. I didn't realize it was so versatile.

love the wipes ,so easy to pack

30th April, 2016

I also use this for a quick clean of my make up brushes, It's so good a easy! i clean them after i apply my make up, and they're dry by the time i finish work. Love how versatile this stuff is.

I hate this stuff! However the lovely Trudijoy gave me a fantastic tip for using it up: for removing hair dye from your skin when you are colouring! It's the only time I let the stuff near my face.

Ooooooooooo what makes you hate it so much?

I had to use a tonne of cotton pads to get my make up off and it wouldn't remove my mascara. I also got a funny sensation on my skin if I didn't rinse it off. I much prefer a balm cleanser with a hot flannel. This is kind of like make up wipes to me.

I didn't find it very effective for taking eye makeup off. Definitely wouldnt cleanse with it.

I don't use this one to clarify (I have not tried it either). I use the Avene one.

Also good to know you couldn't get eye makeup off with it! I won't be trying this one if that's the case.
