We're talking about the pipe braid!
The creation of celebrity fashion hair stylist and makeup artist Nicci Welsh, it's filling up Instagram fast, and we think it's only a matter of time before it spills out of internet-land and blesses us with its beauty in the real world!
Over in the northern hemisphere it's being touted as the must-have festival hairstyle - and we can see why! It's bohemian, free-spirited, totally divine - and it can be styled to keep your hair off your neck on those hot drippy festival days and nights. But we think this style is far too fab for just a festival. It deserves to be walking down streets, up wedding aisles, in supermarkets - worn on the daily, anywhere and everywhere!
What's especially rocking our world is that this look is new! We see trends recycled all the time, as is fashion and beauty's way. But for a look we've not seen before to appear before our eyes? Swoon! It turns out Nicci spent weeks perfecting this style after being inspired by an image - and we're so glad she did!
