What comes to mind when we showcase a product from an NZ brand?  What have we come to expect from a Kiwi skin care or cosmetic company?

Kiwi beauty brands feed into the belief (and thriving sector of the industry) that natural is best for our bodies.  And it seems that by starting from this beautiful landscape a brand is on the right path - all they need to do is to continue to be guided by the land around them.  Any great product starts with great ingredients.  Ingredients that have been used for centuries before being overlooked for fancy packaging, glossy advertising and long ingredient list.

Sustainably grown local ingredients.  Recyclable packaging that won't harm the land that has gifted us with the power of these ingredients. Giving back to the local communities that support the brand and help them grow.  Combine these factors with good ole Kiwi ingenuity and it's no surprise that Kiwi Beauty Brands are a force to be reckoned with.

Just look at Kiwi brand Wild Ferns.  Their motto is Committed to New Zealand, Committed to you.  Wild Ferns' philosophy is to ensure the most important ingredients and components come from natural, ethical, and sustainable sources; retaining and protecting the clean, green beauty that is New Zealand.

All Wild Fern products are 100% New Zealand Made, not tested on animals, environmentally friendly packaged, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate free, Paraben Free and Mineral Oil free.

We're going to be sending out twenty Wild Ferns Autumn Glow sets for review.

Each set contains:

  • Replenishing Day Creme - A beautiful crème containing premium certified Manuka Honey 80+ for daily hydration and nourishment. Powerful antioxidant Co Enzyme Q10 combines with moisturising Apricot Kernel and Jojoba Oils to help your skin retain moisture, smooth dry lines and preserve elasticity. Vitamin A and Buttermilk help promote cell renewal.
  • Intensive Refining Eye Creme - This intensive eye crème containing premium certified Manuka Honey 80+ has been specially formulated to be used around the eye area to hydrate, brighten and soothe the skin. Rosehip, Borage, Wheatgerm and Hazelnut oils will soothe and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while vitamins A, C and E provide high antioxidants which will help to stimulate collagen production.
  • Radiance Renewal Facial Serum - A lightweight serum designed to penetrate the skin and deliver many skin loving ingredients. Premium certified Manuka Honey 80+ and powerful antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E combine with a potent blend of Sweet Almond, Rosehip and Evening Primrose oils to moisturise, nourish and help protect skin from future damage. Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen regenerate and rejuvenate the complexion for a radiant, healthy glow.

All Manuka Honey used in Wild Fern products is guaranteed to contain at least 80% Manuka Pollen – ensuring a skin care experience like no other.  The products feature formulas containing more ingredients from nature and a more natural preservative system.

I have tried the hand Cream from this range. I would say it is close to being one of the best I have used. It smells amazing and moisturisers nicely. The fact that it is made right here makes it even more special.

I always prefer to buy NZ brands whenever possible, I haven't tried the Wild Fern's brand before but have heard of it and been intrigued to find out more about their products. I think NZ has a lot to offer as far as the beautiful products that are produced in this country which is why I love buying them so much and there are many kiwi brands that I will always support and purchase. I also really love products with Manuka honey and it was great to read Wild Ferns products contain at least 80% Manuka pollen, as a lot of Manuka products actually have a very small amount included overall. These sets look lovely and would be something i'd definitely purchase as all my skincare is predominantly NZ made products!

Yes definitely - always keen to buy NZ made where I can - trilogy is one of my faves, along with Antipodes. This brand I have never heard of, so never tried. Definitely keen to see how it compares. I love to know what I am applying to my skin so natural NZ products that are environmentally friendly have me interested! Always have a love for anything with Manuka Honey :)

I don't think I've ever tried any Wild Fern products but I've definitely heard of them. I love to support kiwi brands if I can, though it's not always feasible for me on a student budget. I feel like NZ brands are really high quality products, so it is usually well worth spending a little extra money. I would love to trial this range as I love Manuka honey in skincare (it's so soothing!).

Most important to me is that it works, however being a proud kiwi and supporting a kiwi company does give me the warm fuzzys. I really like the look of this set. Manuka honey is a favorite skincare ingredient of mine, would love to put it to the test.

Would love to trial this amazing kiwi brand

New zealand brands on general just seem to have more ethical and environmental ways of producing their products compared to those big giant brands. And usually kiwi products are easier on my sensitive skin so I often try go for kiwi.

Kiwi made products have the distinction of being clean, green, natural and organic. Where possible I would buy Kiwi made products. I love full regime sets and regularly purchase small travel sets like De'Cleor and Lancome to trial. Would love to trial this!

This looks like a super good range to trial out. I have never heard of this brand before and it would be nice to wear and have our own products to show the world that NZ is where it's at! We have alot of natural products to showcase and manuka honey is so so good. The ingredients look great and I can already smell the scents in my head mmmmm. This is a trial must!

I love NZ companies products, especially as they normally use natural ingredients and this one has the added benefits of being friendly to the environment and also cruelty free. I have never heard of this company but would be keen to give it a try.
