Remember back in the days before you wore makeup, when a simple cleanser was enough to wash your face? And then you discovered makeup. And then scientists discovered ways to make your makeup 'stick' for longer. And suddenly your humble cleanser wasn't enough. You needed a separate product. A makeup remover.
You can get 2-in-1 cleansers and makeup removers. Liquid makeup removers. Oils. Balms. Wipes. Waters containing magical micellar particles. Heck you can even get specially formulated eye makeup removers. So much choice. But is it too much choice?
Why go to the hassle (and expense) of purchasing and using a separate product, when you can go back to basics and just use water? Colour you intrigued right?
Today's trial product isn't water. Obviously. No, no. We're putting the Manicare Makeup Removing Towel to the test. This nifty (and pink!) towel effectively removes stubborn make up with just water, leaving your skin feeling clean and fresh. And the best part of it is - you can just throw it in the wash and reuse it, time and time again!
This Makeup Removing Towel is perfect for those who travel and don't want to risk spills in their bags, as well as those who just want a convenient way to remove makeup without buying extra products. We also think it would be amazing for those of us with sensitive skin - no harsh products needed to remove your look, just good old H20.
So come on then, when it comes to removing your make up do you use a specific product? What format does it come in? Do you prefer liquids, lotions, balms or oils? Does your go to remove all of your makeup effortlessly, or is it still a bit of a scrub?

I'm a super lazy person! So when it comes to removing my makeup I just use a Johnson's cleansing wipe to move the majority of my makeup (guilty at scrubbing at my eyes to remove my waterproof mascara; it gets the majority of it off), then I go in with a second facial wipe by essano (The cute ones with the pink packaging) because I feel it leaves my face less oily afterwards and it removes the makeup which didn't come off with the first wipe. If I have extra time and feel like a wanna really pamper my skin I will properly cleanse my skin with the T-Zone skincare cleansing cream wash before I put on a spot treatment all over my acne spots where I feel is needed. If this makeup removing towel really works then it would save me a whole lot of money where i wouldn't need to purchase facial wipes as well as help save the environment a little by not having to throw away wipes. Very interesting indeed.
