Do you buy the same brand of lip balm every time?

We know there are lip balm addicts among us.  You'll know if you are one because upon leaving the house the essential item check goes; phone, purse, keys, lip balm.  You'll have lip balms everywhere - in your desk, in the car, in every handbag.

But do you stick to the same brand?  Is there one product, and one product only for your lips, or do you find yourself reaching for a completely different brand and product every time?

When you think about it, lip balms are surprisingly easy to experiment with.  They're relatively low cost, easy to pick up in any shop, from the supermarket, to the beauty department to gift shops galore.  They come in an array of cute containers or handy sticks.  And lets not forget the flavours!

We're putting natruél’s Vanilla Lip Balm to the test.  Using olive oil, Rewarewa honey and beeswax, natruél's clear lip balm helps moisturise, nourish and maintain healthier, softer lips.

Combinng the words true and natural, natruél is the skincare range from Mossops Honney - hand crafted and manufactured using a high percentage of UMF® Manuka honey, and cold pressed olive oil, providing your skin with more nourishment.

You won't find:

  • parabens
  • artificial fragrances
  • petroleum derived products
  • synthetic ingredients

We think it sounds fabulous - but we need you to tell us, we want 10 great reviewers to put this to the test.  So why not tell us what kind of lipbalm girl you are.  Do you stick to the same brand or when it comes to lip balm do you see it as a chance to change things up and try new brands, formulas and flavours?  How often does your lip balm last you?

Ohhh interesting. Yes please I am super keen to try this one. I am always on the search for a new lip balm. Most of them I just don't find moisturising enough. Vanilla lip balms would be one of my favourite scents because they're yummy but neutral (and they often taste not bad :P). My lip balm of choice right now is lucas pawpaw or vaseline, but I would like a tube one that I can use on the go without using my fingers or an applicator.

I like to try new ones as some are real soothers for my chapped lips. I like to lather it on at night before I go to sleep so it works its magic overnight

I confess to just grabbing the best priced one off the shelf. I don't know if there is one better than another but my lips do get quite dry and peel regularly. When this happens I go to the lip balm and try to rectify the problem.

I use 2-3 different ones at one time. My current favourite is BabyLips Mango Pie. I always have trouble finding one that I want to keep using, I love using a lipbalm to the very end. For some reason it makes me so happy that I managed to empty one before losing it!

I have about 15 lip balms floating around the house, probably all different brands...! I do know that none of them have manuka honey in them though, so I'd love to try out this one!

Most of the time I buy nivea lip balm but I like to try new things every now and again. I get quite dry and chapped lips, so having a lip balm that lasts for a long time would be great. I'd love to put this one to the test!

I feel like I genuinely need this in my life... I usually switch up products from time to time because I feel like my lips kind of get 'immune' to a certain lip balm so I will use it until I feel like it isn't doing it's job anymore then will swap to something else. I love the brand Blistex and I will often switch between different products of theirs but I also have a million lip smackers, an EOS and a natural honey based lip balm so I swap between those and use several different ones a day because as mentioned above I have them all lurking in different locations and I will use whichever I am closest too. My lips have been quite sore and dry lately and none of the above have been 100% cutting it (I have ran out of Blistex and am too poor to buy more waaa!) so this would be amazing, anything natural based and I am down for it!!

With both my work places having air con I have very dry lips and thus find it difficult to keep my lips soft and supple.. I always wanna try something new, and would LOVE to try this one.

I tend to use what is "in fashion" - im a real sucker for a great review - currently have a eos lippy, maybelline baby lips and Hurraw on the go....this lippy sounds so good! Love having soft lips and great to use under lipsticks

This sounds like my exact story. lip balm minis everywhere, in all purses and shelves. I use simple Vaseline mini tubs, but this one sounds so good as in no nasties. i would love to use this natural lip balm.

Ohh this sounds amazing! I love natural scented lip balms

To be honest I struggle with lip balms! I am yet to find one which doesn't feel greasy on my lips and I really don't like that feeling!! I don't have dry lips in general but I do know the smother your lips the better your lipstick looks!

My lips go from ridiculously dry and flaky to smooth as... VERY annoying. I tend to flick between Blistex and Nivea stick lip balms. Convenient and affordable, and they tend to work on my lips. Haven't tried much else unless I've been given it for Xmas or whatever.

I like to use lip balm when I'm not wearing lipstick. I like to try new brands. My lip balms last me quite a while unless my toddler gets hold of it then she sticks her tiny fingers in the tube and tries to smear it on her legs like body butter!

I definitely always buy different lip balms - they're pretty inexpensive and you don't really have to look for a specific colour like you do with lipstick, so I love to experiment. I use a lot of it, so it would be nice to try out something a bit more natural so I'm not ingesting too much synthetic stuff!
