I was super lucky to receive this in the last beauty vault (thanks BR!) and my overall impression (now that I've made a good go of trying out everything) is that this is a really great little kit (and good value!), although not all colours will be for everyone.
Beautiful colour palette:
Eyeshadows: I really enjoyed these (glisten, the gold colour, is my favourite!) although they weren't the most pigmented I've tried. When I got this set I was really excited for Mediterranean (the blue shadow), however I probably get the least use out of this one because of how sheer the colour is. The colour is *slightly* buildable, you just need to be prepared to work at it.
Blush: I love this blush, and actually already owned the full size. Really pretty colour (a nice pinky apricot colour that I think would work for most people) with nice pigmentation and a bit of shimmer through it. The only thing I would say is that it didn't quite fit my blush brush, so you might need to get a bit creative on the brush you use with this one.
Shimmer powder: This is super shimmery, so not for those who aren't a fan of a bit of glitter, but overall a really nice highlighter.
Kabuki brush: This is one of the main reasons I went for this set in the beauty vault, and I wasn't disappointed! This brush is one of the softest brushes I've felt, and is so nice to use. I'm currently using this for powder but because it has an angle to it, it would make a nice blush brush too.
Lipsticks: Peony (the pinker one) is my favourite (really pretty colour with a nice shimmer through it), as amethyst is a little too on the brown side for my personal taste. I've passed this on to my mum, who loves it! The formula of both of these is really nice and hydrating, which is great. Love the gold metal packaging of these lipsticks, too - so pretty!
Lip gloss: This is a pretty gloss, and works well with the peony lipstick shade. Smells amazing, and is a nice, smooth and not-too-sticky formula.
Lip pencil: This pencil had a really nice, creamy formula but isn't a colour I would ever really wear. Goes nicely with the amethyst lipstick, though, so mum got that one too!
Mascara: This is a really nice mascara if you're wanting nice natural lashes that don't look too dramatic. Really nice and black, the only downside was that it was so tiny! Good for travelling, though.
Red door EDT: The last item in here was a tiny cute little bottle of the red door EDT which came packaged in the most adorable little red door glass bottle. I didn't think that I was going to be a huge fan of this fragrance because it's always seemed a bit of a nana perfume to me, but it was surprisingly nice and is going in my travel bag!
Evening bag: All the products came packaged in a cute little silver sparkly evening bag. This didn't feel like the best quality in the world, but was a nice way for the products to come packaged together
I think that this is a great little set it always works and is very handy when you need it I love the bag that it comes with it is now my main makeup bag I really enjoyed this product and would definatly purchase it again and recommend it to anyone
